WANTED

We are in need of an Area Steward to fill the position at Masterton Motorplex for this season. You will need a very good knowledge of the rulebook and be level headed and assertive. The Boards of IHRA NZ Inc and the New Zealand Drag Racing Association Inc have agreed to hold a joint National Drag Racing Series for the 2019/2020 season and for the 2020/2021 season.

The existing NZDRA National Series, and the existing IHRA NZ National Series will be replaced by the new joint series.

A subcommittee has met, and are working hard to align class rules and safety rules for the coming season which will culminate in the New Zealand Nationals being held at Meremere Dragway in March 2020 and the finals at Masterton Motorplex.

Both Boards are excited to co-host this National Series and see it as a major step forward for the sport of drag racing in New Zealand.

IHRA ONE DAY LICENCE PROCEDURE

As of the 1^st July 2016 IHRA licenced drivers can compete at a NZDRA sanctioned event under these conditions:-

You must hold a current IHRA Licence
You must hold a current IHRA tech sheet and logbook
You must pay a fee of $30 (payable at the track)
You must complete a declaration form (obtained at the track)
You must complete a SSP form (obtained at the track)
